The Connecticut Workforce Development Council aligns the efforts of Connecticut’s five business-led regional workforce boards that deliver demand-driven workforce development, prepare workers for job openings and provide access to training and employment opportunities to meet the needs of businesses.
$160 Million Boost
The boards implement Connecticut’s workforce programs, coordinate with state departments and have brought into Connecticut $95M in discretionary funds and another $65M as partners on projects since 2010.
